Beacon's three exceptional investment competencies led to a three-part design

Assignment: Establish thought leadership around a sub-contracted investment menu that included three distinct investment competencies.
Challenge: Beacon Capital Management represented a distinctive menu of products that covered the full range of investor needs from core products to alternative investments. The challenge was to present the product array in a fashion that was easy for advisors to use in the qualification process. The offering was so broad that it needed to be simplified to be comprehensible to the average investor.
Solution: Beginning with the pure research orientation of the firm, we created a brand identity that used a simple, molecular design to represent the components of core, core plus and flexible strategies. This three-part design was continued throughout the design platform – from the logo to the client profiling pieces to the order form. Establishing the firm’s thought leadership in research this way helped us uncover fresh facets to Beacon’s brand identity and set the copy direction on the right path. The creative team included John Drachman on direction and copywriting and blueye.com on design.
